My very special interest is in fertility guidance, IVF support in all its forms, and miscarriage prevention.

I have helped hundreds of couples conceive their babies…and I absolutely love it.

My approach is thorough and thoughtful and my evidence-based practice is informed by the latest research, clinical experience and traditional naturopathic practice & philosophy.

I am sensitive, approachable and enthusiastic.

I find a great deal of joy in my work, and laugh a lot.

My naturopathic career has always been woman centred. I have been fortunate enough to work at Australia’s premier naturopathic fertility clinic, The Jocelyn Centre, since 2002. This has meant being surrounded by practitioners and staff as equally enthusiastic about women’s health, and bringing healthy babies into the world, as I am. What a joy!

And even more than that, it has meant I’ve worked with hundreds of women and couples, to help them achieve their goals. To help them prepare their bodies for a healthy conception. To gain control over their hormones by understanding their cycle. To pull out my detective gear and try to understand the underlying reasons for their ‘unexplained infertility’. What a gift!

Some time into my practice, I was lucky enough to receive a Maya Abdominal Massage. My experience of that treatment was profound, and I knew I had to learn how to offer this valuable therapy to my patients. So I took myself off to the US to train in the Certification Level of the Arvigo® Therapies from Dr Rosita Arvigo, who developed the Arvigo® Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapies after her own ten-year apprenticeship with Maya Healer Don Elijio. What an adventure!

Not too long after that, a conversation with colleague Jane Bennett turned to her work educating young girls about menarche…their first period. A Celebration Day for Girls. I think my heart literally sang out with joy at the chance to learn how to bring this Celebration to girls everywhere, and I was lucky enough to be one of the first trained Celebration Day facilitators. What a blessing!…(a word which, incidentally, is derived from Old English meaning…to bleed!)

And then things came full circle, as they often do, and I was approached to supervise and lecture Naturopathy students.

And so you find me now, a highly experienced naturopath specialising in the full range of women’s reproductive wellness. I know how challenging it can sometimes be to conceive and welcome working with you no matter where you're up to - for preconception guidance, general reproductive / fertility support, IVF / donor cycle support, miscarriage management, premature ovarian failure, same-sex couples...anywhere along the spectrum of welcoming your baby!

Where are you placed on that spectrum?
